This is a day you will remember as a hilight of your time in Vanuatu. We travelled to this beautiful island with P&O in April and just a few days before booked this tour for our family of 7 (ages 14 to 74!). We had read some great reviews but you are still never sure what to expect until you get there. We were met by the bus at Port Vila, right on time and were then entertained by our knowledgeable guide Justin for the rest of the day. If you have the pleasure to meet this man, don’t forget to ask him about his grandfather…but make sure you have a strong stomach first! His family literally made history. Aside from Justin and our driver, who could not do enough to help my parents up and down the steps of the bus and ensure they were comfortable at all times, the stops were amazing. The cultural village, the school, the lagoon and the turtle sanctuary, oh and of course the duty free shop at the end. With morning tea and a buffet lunch all included in the price it was certainly value for money. I would highly recommend this tour and if you are travelling with P&O don’t book via them thinking it is a safe option, a direct booking via their website or Hot Deals Vanuatu is the way to go.
