Description
Take “the road less travelled” to Port Vila’s hidden gem, Lololima Cascades & Waterfall!
Lololima Cascades is situate on private leasehold property 20 minutes out of town, therefore access to the general public is restricted to a fortunate few!
Your tour bus stops just a 3-minute walk away from the Cascades.
Once there, you can swing on the “Tarzan rope” and plunge into the pool or just immerse yourself in the refreshingly cool water in the naturally formed sandstone pools, and finish with an invigorating soak in one of our two natural jacuzzis, a whirlpool effect created by the cascading water.
There are also shallow pools suitable for the kids to enjoy in safety.
If you are game and fit, your guide will take you up the waterfall where you will begin a river walk, wading through water where necessary or along the bush tracks beside the meandering river.
During your walk your guide will point out the local flora and fauna, including those which have an importance in our society as traditional food or medicine.
The return walk will end with an exhilarating slide down the waterfall into a pool (optional).
There is also a cave under the waterfall to check out.
Come and discover for yourself Port Vila’s hidden gem and its natural and pristine surrounds – and enjoy a wet fun filled day!!
Cost covers return transfers, entrance fees, refreshments (fruits in season).
What to bring : Towel, camera, insect repellent, reef shoes, and a spirit of adventure!!.
BONUS STOP: Montmartre lookout – get a bird’s eye view of Port Vila and Erakor / Second Lagoon.

We had an excellent tour to the Cascades. The road requires a 4WD and goes into the interior of Vila. We always enjoy getting off the beaten track. Our guide, Baptiste, was very knowledgeable and supportive. We are elderly and with his help we were able to go across the river to the cave behind the falls. We enjoyed watching the local children having great fun climbing around the falls. We were also given some delicious local fruit prepared by Baptiste. The walk requires a number of steps down to the falls so would not be suitable for people with walking difficulties, but the view from the top is worthwhile.
